Cost of fuel for trip to Frisco, TX and back at the national average of $3.288 per gallon with a car that gets 25 mpg – $280.40
Two-night stay at a cheap scary hotel for 80 bucks per night – $160
Food for 3 days – $200
($10 per meal per person for 3 days, including $10 for a stadium hot dog)
Nosebleed tickets for the game at 90 bucks per person off StubHub – $180.00
The payoff for seeing the game in person – PRICELESS
Total Cost – $820.40
Total cost per person – $410.20
Since $410 is not easy to come up with out of thin air, I recommend you start now to make plans for next year. Start by setting aside $35/month into a savings account. You may not have the money this year, however, if you do this, you will have the funds you need to watch the Bison play in next year’s championship game.
GO BISON!
